It hasn't been free, or easy, but it's cheaper than a legitimate degree... I would also love to do a printmaking residency at some point :) printmaking was my major for undergrad & I definitely have some unfinished ideas I'd love to continue exploring. I need to be around copper & wood & ink again!

I think the best way to look at this, is I am getting my mastery in other ways through commitment to any & all hours spent tattooing, painting & drawing. & each year adding to & expanding my creative skill sets... & I'm really enjoying it very much, stretching my brains in that way.

There r always points in every tattoo I've ever gotten where I'm like wow this really fuckin hurts but the artist gets through that section & the next section is easier... it's a mind game w/ oneself
