Let the closure of Bank in February motivate you to do crazy things in these games you never considered doing before, or carefully curate which treasured Pokemon you want to send up to HOME for the future. Don't let it become a massive panic where you feel like all will be lost forever.

Not to be dramatic, but for me personally, this is tantamount to announcing the end of the world. More than half the reason I like Pokemon as a franchise is the interconnectivity. Dexit stung but was bearable because of home. This cuts of gens 3-7 from the switch. I am distraught.

friday thoughts: I think it's important that shiny hunters be vocal about and continue to recommend accessible hunting options like emulation and/or flashcarts for newer folks looking to get into the hobby but think they are unable to due to the high cost of games/equipment they see most ppl use

I hate saying this, but please be naturally skeptical of any "recomp" project you see. When an article comes out saying, *insert classic game here* is now playable on PC!!" assume it's vibe coded AI crap. Projects like that take an absurd amount of time/effort to be done well by actual programmers!!

Well, my Safariweek2026 adventure ended with just a single shiny seen, and it ran. 🥲 I do plan on at least finishing my current phase before ending so I’m gonna do a little overtime in the Soul Silver zone. C’mooooon Drowzee!

if I can talk my shit real quick I think this is like the coolest Pokémon thing I’ve made Maybe I *will* make a video on it one day just to get some more eyes on it bc It’s the best example of how my game design experience makes its way into little Pokemon projects I develop and I love it sm

Just finished playing through Breath of the Wild after a long time and moving to Tears of the Kingdom. I MISSED these games. They just have a way of sucking you in. This all started bc Fawaz and I watched a video of someone playing and he decided to start since he never played. We are both hooked!🤭

Happy pride from Porygon everyone. This was a real conversation.

A four frame comic about how I did not know Porygon was an artifical Pokémon. In the first frame I am talking to my friend and saying "Porygon is my favorite pokémon!". My friend replies "Ah yeh, he's very cute.". In the second frame my frame bumps me in the shoulder playfully and says "A shame he's AI right?". I appear confused and say "what". In the third frame I ask "Porygon is AI?". She replies: "What did you think he was?". I say: "A rock?" and she says "What kinda rock is that?". We both appear confused. In the fourth frame a drawing of a happy porygon is shown. I say: "A gay rock?"
