This truthful palindromic equality (the sequence of digits appearing on the equation is symmetric) uses every digit. I found it last year. 212·4⁶³⁵ + 3⁷⁹⁹⁹⁹³·9 + 2·4⁵ − 1808 = 15·4² + 9³⁹⁹⁹⁹⁷·3 + 53·64²¹²

I found the "longest" (for now) palindrome in the world. It consists of the concatenation of the airport codes of 15 airports worldwide and spans a 79,030 mile-long itinerary of flights. It begins and ends in Brazil. @ligaagil.bsky.social @opalindromista.bsky.social

Palindrome in solidarity with L.A.
The picture shows the Palisades Fire. The text is a palindrome that reads:

Damn, a brutal fret:
L.A. fires are evil,
a live eraser.

I falter, flat, urban, mad.

The palindrome is by Pedro Poitevin.

I have written (or found, don’t know exactly which) another very long environmental poem (over two million miles in length). It is not a sonnet. In fact, it’s in free verse. I’m hoping someone will pick it up for publication. Wish me luck!

This sonnet for Kurt Gödel is, letter-by-letter, a palindrome from start to finish. #poetry
A Walk with Kurt Gödel

Late, plain Arcadia lost, far dot deliver!
Le dogme, open ode, pool, idle if.
Put salt on mirror rim. Laud not a sliver
of straw on devil's eye. Flow at one riff.

Low, midair, as no omen, I fled north.
Gilded rib's trap. Mist. Sacred roses. Ire.
He, rife. Rife, I negate, slip upside worth.
Oh, trowed is pupil. Set a genie fire.

Fire. He rises. Order casts, imparts
birded light rondel, fine moon's aria, dim.
Wolf. Fire not! A wolf eyes lived now arts,
for evil sat on dual mirror rim.

Not last upfield, I looped one poem. Gödel
reviled to draft, so laid a cranial petal.

An insomnia sonnet with palindromic (or mirror) rhymes: keep/peek, emit/time, wolf/flow, loops/spool, part/trap, doom/mood, peels/sleep. I wrote it under the bedroom skylight. #poetry
Under the Bedroom Skylight

Scanning the sky this way and that to keep
the light those distant galaxies emit,
we sense our insignificance—how time
dissolves like snow on seawater. We peek
beyond Andromeda and dream a wolf
gazes at us with quasar-eyes and loops
around while night unwinds the cosmic spool.
We lie intent on stillness but still flow.
We seem to stay together but we part.
And as we spiral into mindless doom,
our fingers meet and weave a mellow mood
that thaws the rim of Morpheus' trap.
Your index leads the way through clouds and peels
away the layers of darkness till we sleep.

Ten Million Palindromic Sonnets. If you click on the link, you will be able to generate them. #poetry pedropoitevin.com/ten-million-...
I wrote ten million sonnets yesterday,
each one of them a palindrome, I swear.
And even though most people do not care,
I did, ten million sonnets in a day!
You look dumbfounded and you say, "No way,"
but this is no tomfoolery. I dare
you: visit now my wicked website, where
the sonnets can be read or thrown away.
And if you do, please read each sonnet twice,
once forwards and once backwards, to ensure
it does have palindromic symmetry.
Thought you might say you don't believe your eyes,
your eyes won't lie when witnessing it, pure
delight in form and playful sorcery.

A meta-palindrome that would like to be a poem. #poetry
This image contains a palindromic poem titled "Idle Declaration." The poem's content, which is, letter-by-letter, reversible, reads as follows:

Til spun, we spool.
Lives drown in woe.
We fill an abyssal gap.
Art—as I told a sad lot—
is a trap, a glassy, banal
life we own in words' evil
loop, sewn up, slit.
