I see some concerns raised about Godot's policy on contributions using AI. TL;DR: Godot isn't vibe-coded. As a whole, the Godot foundation and maintainers are fairly critical of AI usage, and don't make nor accept vibe-coded contributions. Godot doesn't include AI features nor intends to add any.

Godot's current policy on AI-assisted contributions reads like this:

"The use of AI to contribute to Godot is discouraged, and contributions made entirely by AI are prohibited.

We acknowledge that AI can be useful, but we are convinced that human effort results in better and more relevant contributions.

If you do use AI, we expect that you put in effort to proofread and improve anything it generates, and that you disclose what you used AI for. As maintainers spend significant time reviewing your code, please make sure that the code you submit is well-tested and functional. Please be respectful of their time and only submit something you have put thought and effort into."

I wish I could fit everything in the first picture in this post but to sum this all up this summer thanks to my job situation I’ll be extremely short with my paychecks and work for the summer and need your help if you can to keep me financially afloat! <3 #signalboost ko-fi.com/mondaybear21

Discord screenshot that reads:

heeeeyy there, Marc here again and this is super important (and I should have done this *much* earlier):
For a long while I have been working two somewhat part-time jobs to stay afloat money wise - however because of a decision with some of the employees to have Saturdays off for the summer at my gas station job (and the only day I work there is Saturday), the paychecks for how much I get each week during the summer will take a *huge* hit as a result, and the paycheck for my other job working retail is much less (and some weeks I don’t even work any days!)
I am currently looking for a new job at the moment that has better hours and pay but until then with what I have, I am always open for donations to make sure I am financially stable during the summer during the time in which I am short-handed with work. Anything helps, even sharing would do the most good. Thank you <3

HELP ME STAY FINANCIALLY AFLOAT THIS SUMMER!
One of my two jobs at a gas station has cut my hours drastically for the summer due to the request of other employees wanting Saturdays off for the summer, and because I work there only on that day I won't work there for three months my pay will be lowered heavily - my other job pays at a lower rate and sometimes I don't get assigned days for a week.
Please support me it you can at this time while I find another well-paying job! (To the right is a picture of the sign from the gas station job saying they will have Saturdays off from May 23rd to September 3rd)
To help me out and donate: @mondaybear21 on the following apps: PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, and Ko-fi

KDE will be 30 years old this year and Katie updates her look! KDE is all about innovating, but Katie hadn't changed her apparel in more than 10 years. Now, sporting an orange hoodie and leggings, she's ready to spring into action and stomp on all those bugs! kde.org/anniversarie... #kdeAt30

KDE ready to spring into action, adding new features and squashing bug, sporting a yellow-orange hoodie and white shorts, and white leggings.

The evolution of Katie over the years: left most, the first iteration created in 2001 looked a bit like an upright crocodile with wings, fangs and mascara, wearing a long dress and pendant with a gear hanging from it.

In 2012 (center), Tyson Tan reworked Katie to look more like the current iteration of Konqi, more kiddie friendly with a a pink dress and horns.

In 2026 Tyson did it again and has created a more modern look for Katie (right), decking her out in a hoodie and shorts.

I'm gonna retire from using vistathemeplasma that's in gitgud, and use the stock Breeze theme. No third-party theming. Just simple Breeze theme. It's already pretty anyways. But I'm open to frutiger aero-like Plasma 6 theme recommendations 👋👋👋.
