2E44 was described on the TD as 2E45 and fixed when it got to Kings Heath. I'm guessing a signaller error

This was Saturday at @unitydiner.bsky.social. The cocktail was called “Piers Morgan’s Tears” and honestly, it was delicious. The tofish was so filling I may have given myself a food coma

When your bus is on diversion in London, the LED panel shows an asterisk rather than the next bus stop. I think it nicely represents the clenched feeling of one’s buttocks when you’re going through an unfamiliar route

Why is this site announcing that the joke candidate has won the Clacton By-Election rather than Count Binface? Smells like some kind of AI jumping to conclusions...

I am pleased to report that the tomato plants gifted by one of our GP Partners are alive and well in my possession three months later, and one is even bearing fruit. That said, I bet posting about my green fingered success is now a curse!

It's becoming increasingly difficult to know when the 6 O'Clock and 10 O'Clock News is on. I've missed the Six by an hour, but the Ten is actually at 2200

Backward compatibility is an important consideration in tech, but apart from dabbling with it in 1996, I haven't ever *used* uucp!

Some context on the events at Elstow/Bedford this evening. There is a lot you can tell from train describer data on @opentraintimes.com, however there is a lot of information that you cannot determine. The purple trace is the Class 360's movements, the green is the 810's.

One of the (many) things I like about @intellijidea.com is that it keeps pace with change. The shortcut 'psvm' inserts 'public static void main() {}' in Java 21, but recognises this is a Java 25 so drops the 'public'.

In the second pane, the character screams "I SUMMON THE VAST POWER OF CERTIFICATION". In the final pane, Dilbert look at the character, who is saying "Well, this is embarassing.
