The R train has no idea how to run properly, and I say that as someone who used to live on the 2 line in the Bronx.

It's crazy how much one's allergies factor into life choices. Like, I often think, "I'd totally make a pass at this person if they didn't own a cat."

Oh. Oh, no. I've just discovered that I can play Pole Position on my Switch. Forget it. Y'all may never hear from me again.

One more. Why not? Here are #My9Games. These games helped me figure out what sort of game play I enjoy. I'm dating the Hell out of myself here, especially since I played the entire first row exclusively at arcades.

I also couldn't pass up the #My9Koma challenge. I wanted to include "Purple Hyacinth" but they didn't have it listed in the database. (HERESY!) Luckily, I've read a lot of good manga and webtoons so I was able to substitute another.

I couldn't pass up the #My9Anime challenge. Though I'm a relative newcomer to anime, these 9 are the ones that have really stuck with me.

There are 2 people in my subway car who are talking to themselves, and when one of them speaks loudly, the other gets louder so the invisible person they are talking to can hear them over the racket.

Okay, I need to stop watching YouTube reaction videos for the rest of the day. i just watched a guy talk about how he didn't understand what "She's Leaving Home" by The Beatles was about. It's...it's right there in the title. How are people this dense?

I'm sitting here on my couch doing some after hours work and, like, half of my organization's leadership is active on Teams. At least I'm not the only one doing work at 9pm. Makes me feel a little less alone.

I need NYC Housing Conect to explain to me why a single person making $125,000 a year needs affordable housing, but a single person making half of that doesn't. Make it make sense.

You know what my local CVS did right after the 4th of July? It put out the Halloween decorations, and it has been annoying me ever since. It's almost 90 degrees outside. How dare you tease me with autumn leaves, plastic cauldrons, and cackling witches with eyes that light up. The audacity.

I started work at 7:30am and worked straight through until 4:15pm. Tomorrow, I need to get a head start on next week's work, but I'm spending the rest of tonight running around my islnd on Animal Crossing, catching fish and diving for deep sea creatures.

I'm so brain dead. I have two deadlines tomorrow, and three next week. I'm beyond exhausted. I wish I could afford to sleep all weekend, but I'm going to have to work because eight hours a day, five days a week isn't enough time to get everything I need to do done.

Does The Devil Wears Prada 2 count as a horror movie? Miranda Priestly IS one of the most sinister characters ever committed to film.

Summer is my busy season at work. I've worked the last two weekends. I have four major deadlines next week. I'm so tired. I'm hoping to schedule some much needed PTO in September. That is all.

I got a Nintendo Switch for my birthday, and I've entered my Animal Crossing era. I've got two sharks living in above ground pools in my back yeard. I think of them as my living, breathing savings accounts. (Those bad boys will fetch a lot of bells if I ever need to cash them in.)

Welp, the last Netflix series I was invested in has come to an end. All that's left is for me to watch my two favorite comfort shows one last time, and then goodbye Netflix subscription. I've been looking forward to this moment for 3 years, ever since they began cracking down on password sharing.
