There's a lot of great performances in Mouse Hunt but my favourite small part was Ernie Sabella as "Maury" the city pound manager. "Find the one you want and I'll spay or neuter it myself!" Nathan Lane and a Ernie had previously worked together as Timon and Pumbaa in The Lion King.

I've always seen myself as a little clocky, but I also don't mind. I don't think trans women all have to look like cis women. I look a lot like my mom, and I think in a way I help keep her memory around. She would be proud of me I think. Eight years out, five since she passed.

Before it became Rogers, Jumbo Video was the first one I visited as a kid growing up in eastern Ontario. They always had free popcorn on the go. The place smelled amazing. Rented a lot of cartoons here. They even had a porn section, behind a curtain in the back, back when you could do that.

I can still muscle memory my way through all the DKC series, I've played them so many times. These games felt immersive like nothing else I'd seen. The graphics were incredible for the SNES and the soundtracks fucked. They pulled you into their world. Absolute all-time classics.
