Like Nippon league runs 143 games across nearly the same timeline as mlb. That allows starters to pitch once a week, that would be a more reasonable solution than 154 imo if we're talking about # of games.

If you're talking about cutting games from the schedule 154 doesn't make anymore sense that 162. Sure you move the season start date back by about 10 days theoretically but if you're to talking about radical ideas 154 doesn't move the needle for scheduling.

It's one of those things when defensive players start getting hurt or they start giving up a ton of big plays you'll go "oh that's why". Just completely unsustainable imo.

Also, we can't be getting surprised in 2026 that booking hotels through 3rd party sites like Expedia is often a complete shitshow. Everyone knows that the hotel itself has nothing to do with that place, if you want service from the hotel,book direct or with a travel agent.

It is hilarious reading reviews for all-inclusive resorts and the people that have a whole laundry list of problems because a 1000 room resort didn't offer them a boutique experience. Have you tried checking in, going to your room, and eating what they give you? Your experience will improve.

This has been their problem since at least 2018/2019. They have these huge games or series that bump up their aggregate/season end run totals so their offense looks good "on average" but they also have runs where they just don't hit so it doesn't match the eye test.
