What is that metric even supposed to tell us? WASM isn’t a replacement for Javascript, it’s an additional tool to achieve faster compute. Very few websites or even web apps have any need for it. It *shouldn’t* be used for the vast majority of web sites!

I never bought the argument of WebAssembly as a general purpose VM. How is that any different from previous attempts (i.e. Java and .NET) In the NASA case, you still have to prove every single line item for the bytecode interpreter, which is quite an undertaking.

The other side of this fence is HW that fails to gain adoption because it functions so differently from what established software expects. That AI disclosure blurb will never be accurate anyway. A lot of indie devs don't even know which of the middleware they're using has AI-assisted coding (read: near 100% of them). Does that count? If it does, then all Unity- or UE-based games should have that blurb.
