Not too long ago, here in Atlanta, 3 Waymos were braked at an intersection and blocking it because they didn't "know" how to respond to a blinking red traffic light. They just sat there... du-uh!

I split it: $7.80 to mower's gas can, the rest in my hoopty cuz the pump insisted I "see cashier." I'da had to go back into the store, get in line, guess how much to fill up, then pay again. No convenience at pump. I was perturbed until I noticed the sticker next to its readout screen! #gasprices

Trump sticker on gas pump pointing to price and showing caption, "I did this!"

Titan and Onyx do this too, sometimes. Even though the 2 beds are side by side.

A grayish brown tabby is hugging on his black velvety brudda as they barely fit in one round, fluffy cat bed.

Happiness is... discovering how much the orange butterflies, in my "pollination station" of a backyard, seem to love the orange wildflowers most. #naturelovers #lifeisgood #CovingtonPark

Over 40 years ago, having those basic needs fulfilled by #safetynet programs enabled me to excel in #communitycollege, discover and launch a new career, and lift myself and 2 kids out of deep #poverty! Is why I remain an outspoken advocate of them and share my story in a memoir, #ADayattheFare.

A picture of the front cover of Pamela M. Covington's memoir, "A Day at the Fare," which shares the story of her plummet from a cozy, middle-class lifestyle into one of ugly, deep poverty through no fault of her own, and shows how anti-poverty programs enabled her to regain independence. Nikki Giovanni said the book is "a good idea, done very, very well." It's available via Amazon and other outlets.

For shame! Here's evidence of Titan pre-meditating his and Onyx's alleged "murder" plot.

A tan and black striped house cat stretched out asleep across two small cat trees in a sunroom. A bird bath in the backyard is seen through a window.

How in the world did they derive "hunt" and "murder" from that?! Behind a grated wrought iron security door? Then, I am doubly guilty. My indoor cats spend hours watching birds from the sunroom and behind our basement security door!

Weird day! I'd just done 2.3 miles mowing my back yard w. a front wheel drive walk behind and as soon as I walked into my basement door, exhausted I saw this big sucka! 😱 Ewww! My cats wanted at it, but I didn't want them to get bit. So what a Black Rat Snake isn't venomous. Not my #cats! #snakes

Ever watch the movie, "Flow" with your #cats? I have--at least 3 times. I loved it and so did Onyx and Titan. It's perfect for a #caturday thing to do! #catlovers It's fun. It's beautiful. And kind. 🥰

🎶 Last night I took time away from the hate-filled political madness. I let Elderbrook's one-man musical magic work on me at ATL'S Underground. I anxiously awaited "Old Friend." He was astonishing! Tunes are playing back in my head today. I welcome them! #EDM #music #diversityisthespiceoflife

What living in the U.S. currently feels like under the direction of President It and its flying monkeys. From Hieronymus Bosch's triptych, "The Garden of Worldly Delights," w. description text. 😮‍💨 I'd briefly steered my thoughts from the chaos, but the mood of this art came to mind. Your thoughts?

Nice score! This is my original Sony player I bought brand new decades ago. I replaced 2 belts on it. I still have its functional remote and I love the unit's many operational controls.

I love everything #NikkiGiovanni stood for. In the few minutes we shared she offered golden wisdom which often plays back in my head. I was totally floored when 3 days later I received a note from her about my book, #ADayattheFare! I framed it then and today cherish it even more. #RIP 🌹 #books

A fun #caturday question. Can't wait to read your posts, #catlovers! Q. How do you respond to people who say, "Ewww, I don't like #cats?" Me: "My cats don't like YOU!" or "I'm not asking you to marry them!" (Titan and Onyx love each other so much they'd rather squeeze up in one cat bed.)
