Part of my job is teaching life drawing. I don’t always feel like the people in the room are keen to learn, but it’s at least problem solving and mindfulness when figuring out how to observe and capture what’s there. Here’s some traditional media examples.

Random quick life drawing demos with colour pencil and lead.

Random 2-5min gesture life drawing with willow charcoal and butchers paper

Quick 4 minute life drawing demos with some shadow mapping with compressed charcoal

#nospoilers, I hope more people see thunderbolts* & appreciate the movie for what it is, & what it’s saying. Not just focusing on “MCU stuff”. The underlying theme & message was really well handled, co-signed by my neurodiverse partner. It’s not just the film the trailer pitched it as. Go see it.

Marvel’s Boomerang was hilarious to me because firstly, original appearance had 1 boomerang but threw little discs off his puffy sleeved top (great for throwing, btw), & secondly, he was a Hulk villain. THE HULK for f*** sake.
