As I predicted, Calamity repeated the same mistakes as Starbound, & ultimately succame to the same fate. Forever living in the shadow of its own potential & with sprites, sound effects, & music being pulled, it will continue to dilapidate until only fleeting glimpses of what could've been remains...

He was all too eager to fan the flames and bad-mouth Cal Fables (which I genuinely think is the only future left for this IP). In retrospect, my suspicions after Fabsol got ousted & more so after the Azafure LLC. incident, really shoulda served as the Canary in the Coal Mine.

What Ozzatron did was a severe betrayal of trust, after he was unanimously elected to be Calamity's newest leader. It was a betrayal to the community, where he promised to be better than Fabsol, a betrayal to the donors, who felt scammed by a p3d0phile

#Calamitymod With the Ozz files being released, I truly think that the Calamity Mod is dead. Developer support has died out utterly, unlike Fabsol, nobody is celebrating this, and worst of all, many of the fleeing developers are pulling their assets from the mod. 🧵🧵🧵

Within hours, the White House agreed the patient surveys painted a clear picture, the people said. In an internal call, the White House aides approved statements from the public health agencies for public release — though they still only identified Taco Bell as linked to the outbreak, without naming Taylor Farms specifically.
Taco Bell moved first, releasing a statement. While it did not explicitly name Taylor Farms it said it believed "public health is a shared responsibility among restaurants, their suppliers, and authorities, and we are proud to have consistently acted quickly and proactively to protect our guests."
The agency updates on the outbreak were finally posted after 10 p.m. New York time - hours behind schedule - and also omitted directly naming Taylor Farms or saying if the company would recall products.

The removal of dislikes was 100% to suppress criticism. Just a cynical, corporate way of trying to silence the mass consensus and tightening their grip around what you are allowed to see. I can't help but think gaming is in a really, really, really bad place right now. Things like this, massive layoffs across the industry losing thousands of talented people who will never return, and the continual refocus on the Hollywoodification of games in general. I hate it.
