Even IF he wasn’t up for the job, he knew how to select the best of the best to work for him, which is what made him a good leader.

Ugh, I’m sorry. I’ve had to unfollow several old favorites because if they’re not catastrophizing, they’re shooting down everyone trying to help. 😥

I guess the makeup studio scandal was one scandal too much for the Cheeto’s DUI hire? Funny coming from this administration… 😅

My three year old realized that all the Halloween books have a jack o lantern sticker on the spines… so we have been coming home with at least three or four per visit lately 😂

Nothing wounds the soul more than seeing someone hate on one of your favorite books. 🥲 It’s why I usually try to find the good in at least SOMETHING I say.

I could go on and on about the missed opportunities of the sequel trilogy including a light side and dark side user falling in love and forging a new way and bringing about true balance to the force together

Unfortunately many people aren’t. I spent a long time talking with some people yesterday who said they hadn’t even read the news for a month (who were thankfully horrified when told what’s been happening and hopefully will be motivated to vote next time 😅)

Friends, things that are: Cruel Dangerous Untrue ...require wisdom to clearly identify and courage to stand against regardless of which "side" might benefit. Indeed, in the face of cruelty, there are only two sides: for cruelty and against cruelty. All previous sortings are obsolete.

I used to think the most unrealistic part of disaster and zombie movies was how nobody would work together and have compassion for each other. The last few years definitely changed that… no community seems safe from uncaring and callus people.

YouTube is only on the big tv in the living room and we’re the only ones allowed to choose what we watch. So far so good…

I literally spent an hour in goodwill going item by item and found ONE maternity shirt that was mixed in with the normal sizes. This is really puzzling to me because what is goodwill doing with all of them? They have to be donated frequently, since there’s only a limited time that they’re worn.

000

Jenica Joy 🪻🍃 @plushiefrodo.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

I appreciate so much these older hand me down shirts from defunct maternity brands, but it’s a real hit to the psyche to wear a) a tent or b) this shade of orange that somehow makes me look green

100

Jenica Joy 🪻🍃 @plushiefrodo.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

Look I just can’t wait to get out of maternity clothes. With the advent of monopolistic online shopping it’s impossible to find any in person, and you’re reduced to finding what you can via friend’s hand me downs (good for the planet of course) and amazon. Even secondhand stores don’t carry any.
