that's awesome!!! I did see Stargazer, will definitely read that and seen a bit of the Thunderclash comic it's amazing. !!!! Excited for Skram and the Axelerators 💜!! I would like to go to TFNation someday but that probably won't be until years from now, I've heard it's really fun!

And we love that! 💜 I should take a look at your comic again (the one with Lifeline), are you still drawing that? :3

said essay where I wrote about that whole thing that does in a way overlap with real collapses of gender systems in history btw pluralsword.neocities.org/Trans_Histor...

Trans History and Retcons Regarding IDW1 Arcee and Her Spotlight

I feel pretty strongly about idw1's whole transfems surviving androcentrism after the canonical collapse of gender knowledge on cybertron thing, I wrote about that (though not about Rosanna specifically). Rosanna is, by accident colors in MTMTE -> intentional repetition TF:OP, part of that

Raven @blaze-cross.bsky.social · 22/03/2025

I don't typically do this kind of thing. I just want to remind people that Rosanna is not exclusive to Animated 1) she was in IDW1 as a textual transfem. both depictions were prewar, 1 case uppercut punching a cop during Zeta-era protest (tfop #1) 2) also Rosanna originated in KS let's admit that

(me casually forgetting I wrote Elita/Optimus and Megatron/Dot as some of the front and center ships alongside Alex/Dot in the third chapter of a story once. i've written a lot okay XD )

000

i write so much (trans) lesbian stuff & i love it, i can do some m/f on occasion. did that with fistfight/cyberwarp (although their relationship wasn't as in text visible as yaoi sentinel/fistfight, but the parenting was impactful on their kid airachnid). i did doomed m/f nova prime/accelerator once

it's just inevitable that'll end up writing a roller/nickel story because of that one time he was spinning her wheels and they both seemed to enjoy it in Lost Light huh? #transformers

ah ye. that's definitely not what i saw i still hear people lamenting the end of idw2 but yeah that was the first time we had a proper beast wars comic in years so i can understand how that could have been more visible. everyone experiences the internet differently. i saw / see people lamenting both

Happy to! I totally get it. The advantages of not writing ships that aren't as popular as fanfiction is if people want to look for it it's much easier to find - another thing is that if you're doing a multichapter / multiwork story, I'd recommend releasing it one at a time bc that moves the date

Pluralsword @pluralsword.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I think w/ everything goin on there's less people reading more of what they usually read these last few months (and typical of summer / winter ending), + the official transformers media that is delivering the most on yaoi and yuri rn is a 5 min youtube show, would be nice if the comic did more

100

Pluralsword @pluralsword.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

you're dealing w/ the kind of thing us himejoshi writers of transformers (& many fandoms) deal w/ when writing yuri : if 1 isn't writing most popular yaoi ships of a fandom the read-rate accrual is very slow at least, even if one regularly writes yaoi. have hope, people will read, & write for you 💜

writing stories re transformers & transformer gender assemblage along with customs is so regenerative & liberating for me is bc they aren't concerned w/ passing (at least in bodily) even in canon. they just pursue euphoria. no one disputes that all body traits are shared across gender #maccadam 1/2+

sometimes i find the transformers vs mecha debate ridiculous bc Unicron in idw1 was literally the technomagic mecha of a colonized scientist man from Antilla who lost his daughter to the colonial resource extraction conquests to the forces of Megatronus & Onyx Prime (Shockwave) in ancient history

Pluralsword @pluralsword.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

the size difference between Primus and (Herald of) Unicron amuses me, still larger than deluxe Cybertron Unicron who the herald most resembles though! #transformers
