Who gives a shit about tipping pitches. He tried to get 2 innings out of Miller after wearing his arm down to dust in the regular season. He also rostered 15 position players and thought let's put Joe Musgrove on the roster as our 11th pitcher. He also didn't use Vasquez in either of the games.

I hate people in leadership positions who use "We" instead of "I," specifically when holding themselves accountable and or asking others to do something they know they can't/ won't/ aern't willing/ didn't do. Take accountability. Be direct. He is football coach though, so I am asking too much.

I hope "Ambitiously" means theyll spend a ton of money for 2 or 3 years so that Preller or whomever can "thoughtfully" re-build the farm. Especially considering they will not have any SP in 27. Gonna have to spend their way to stability.

So tired of these lazy disingenuous takes about the dodgers. The 5th ranked player is a top 25 prospect. They can replenish their major league roster every off season because they have an unlimited payroll. That allows you to stash all your prospects for this sort of thing.

I would happily trade Miller to the Dodgers, and I would drive up the price by shopping him elsewhere like they do to the padres every season . He'll likely sign there as a FA anyway. Next year's a lockout, and this roster sucks as currently constructed. Get what you can.

Who else would be in the market for Miller if he's made available:

NL scout 1: That's a great question. I would think the Mariners, maybe the Phillies. If Miller's out there, every contender is going to want him. The Dodgers have the pieces to get Miller with eight top 100 prospects, but I dont think the Padres would trade him to their biggest rival. From what Ive been told, the Padres' new ownership group hates the Dodgers."

The Padres medical team has to be one of the worst in sports. Especially in regards to head injuries. They need to fire preller and Stammen ASAP and trade everyone with an expiring deal at the deadline. What an awful season. Honestly one the worst teams I've ever watched.
