EA called Battlefield 6 "the biggest launch in franchise history" and sold 7 million copies in 3 days. But, today, they laid off the devs who helped built it. This is the company asking you to trust a $55B Saudi buyout and their $20B debt.

Effectively, #EA has found a way to outsource their labor, overcharge gamers, underpay #TheSims creators, and reap the profits for their executives. Just a preview of what’s to come should EA fall under the control of private equity.
