i got a keychron K0 Max numpad because there was one on sale, complete-but-open-box at micro center the other day. i think i love this thing. it’s my first time having a keychron device and i’m almost overwhelmed by the shortcut possibilities. the knob rotates AND clicks down… fun

i hung up some prints above my bed yesterday. i still need to figure out how to hang a nonstandard size nicely (i really like that art on the museum guide...) but otherwise i'm happy with it i used this guide and it made the hanging process so easy www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-creat...

a bed with an assortment of framed prints above it. mostly prints featuring cats and floral motifs

thank you! here's a secret tip: saturation is an underrated color trait! contrast a light, muted greyish tone with a deeper, more saturated color. or vice versa! sites like coolors.co can be helpful for getting inspiration and building color schemes too

Your colour schemes are always very pretty and work so well together, pairing rich greens with soft pinks or earthy browns and such. What's your secret? Any tips on picking colours for each other?

i know this is a really sappy answer but i mean it genuinely: my boyfriend, for supporting me, loving me, and helping me leave a very bad situation. made me realize that a better, happier future is possible. it's been a real fuckin rough year but that's the easily best thing that's happened all year

;_;!!!! this means so much to me to hear... it's been a little bit since i've done a whole makeup look, but lately i've been wearing red lipstick again and that's been making me happy. it's a deep, dark, cranberry-ish red. love it so much

I remember your makeup post on cohost! They always brought me joy. Are there any makeup things that are bringing you joy lately?

just remembered this webring i came across a few months ago (accessed via protoweb.org)

old geocities website:
Black Cat Web Ring
Welcome to the Black Cat WebRing. This is a ring just for Black cats. Even though black cats have gotten a bad rap for many years, they have always been a favorite of mine. I just love their shiney coats and bright eyes. They are like stars in the night that light up the sky. I belive that there are many others out there who love black cats

PLOT TWIST: i installed MX Linux instead of any of the other options i have talked about recently. so far, so good. i appreciate all of the built in config tools. some people may call it "unnecessary" but i call it "saving me a lot of time and headaches"!!!!
