All of the 30 Minutes lines use standardized 3mm pegs/holes for accessories, so you can mix and match parts from Missions, Sisters and Fantasy pretty freely! Whether they look *good* is another matter, but that's part of the fun of kitbashing, I'm told!

Good news: the spring turned up. It had somehow bounced itself into the pocket of the shorts I was wearing! Better news: Turns out that's NOT a set-screw that's missing; it's just a hunk of metal that keeps the nippers from opening too wide. Easily replaced it with a piece of a paper clip!

Coil spring, and that's a possibility, but the adjustment screw actually holds the jaws closed enough to keep the spring in place, so that's the larger issue! Ah, well, the nippers still *nip*, so it's not an all-to-pieces catastrophe or anything!

Oh, got a magnet; I've swung it all around the table I've been building at for the past few weeks, and turned up nothing. The spring has done what springs do and *sprung*! No telling when the adjustment screw went missing, but it didn't pick that up, either. They belong to the carpet now.

Tragedy struck while putting Micolulu together: dropped my GodHand nippers onto the floor, and the spring shot off to God only knows where. Which revealed a second, more serious issue: the adjustment screw has also gone missing. All my building rooms are carpeted, so they're gone for good!

A pair of GodHand SPN-120 s8ngle-bladed nippers, sans compression spring.

The teeny, tiny fine-adjustment lug is also missing, so even if I replace the spring, the nippers won't stay closed enough to keep it in place.

Bandai 30 Minutes Sister Marical gawps at a few boxed kits that will someday soon be her party members: healer Eliene-Elerica (with 30MF Lieber Priest accessories), paladin Yufia (with 30MS Minerva Costume and 30MF Knight accessories) and rogue Micolulu (whose 30MF Lie er Assassin/Slash accessories should hopefully arrive early next week). All characters (including Marical herself) will be getting custom paint, of course.

- The roll on her left arm, though, wasn't sanded enough, and I broke the joint while posing. - Paint transfer. Even after topcoating, she's getting a lot of rub-off from her hip parts onto her thighs; you can really see it in the dark spots on her butt. It's OK, I look at figure butts, too.

Lang's left braceleted arm, showing the elbow joint split just before I took the second picture in this group. The roll peg on her left shoulder was pretty firm, but it didn't feel THAT sticky. There's still enough of the joint for the wrist peg to hold onto for photos, but it won't stay for some poses.

Fortunately, I'll probably never display her in Normal/Costume mode, and will probably only use these arms for future photos, but still, good practice to remember to sand those joints!

Some notes for future kits: - Sand joints and hands! Her knees are chip after posing her for the pictures, and the handles are nearly worn out on her guns. - Meanwhile, sanded her right upper arm's roll too much, and the rest of the arms won't stay connected on their own.

Costume Mode! Her top is Star Bright SIlver, with trim in Gaia Premium Prism Blue Black. Figured it'd make a great accent color to all the silver, and it *does* look pretty dynamite.

Same as Mao and Tu, I made her costume/armored mode bottoms a blend of regular suit color (Prism Blue Black) with her leggings texture on the hips, separated by a metallic border.

The armor on her shoes is Mr. Color GX218 Graphite Black, which is a fantastic anodized metal color. Used a bit on her hammer weapon as well.

Armored mode! Gave her hip ribbons and bow tie a yellow-orange color to compliment all the silver and blues in the rest of her outfit.

In retrospect, kinda wish I'd made the cuffs of her arms graphite black instead of Prism Blue-Black, but I don't hate how it looks like this! Would've probably broken up a lot of that gloss a bit better, is all...

Dasshu~

I made the handles on her arms (and the discs on the armored parts beneath her hip ribbons) copper via some Tamiya XF-6 Copper paint, and that was probably a mistake; that stuff is *absurdly* thick and chunky, even after thinning. Probably should've gone with one of my copper-y Vallejo acrylic colors for a smoother, flatter texture, but it's a minor thing.

I painted her skirt with the same SMS holoshift paint as her Normal Mode outfit, just to differentiate it a bit from the rest of her shiny silver.

Kotobukiya's Megami Device PUNI⭐MOFU Gin Lang, wielding the hammer-like weapon stick common to all PMs, stands ready to spar.

Lang's Normal Mode outfit was painted with a base of Gaia EX Black, then coated with Gaia 121 Star Bright Silver, over which I layered some SMS HS02 Holoshift Astral. The silver base kinda eliminates the blue/violet part of the color shift, but it's still nice and prismatic in person.

Topcoated with SMS Chrome Finisher, after I applied a waterslide decal to the top.

Lang needs a moment after a knockdown.

Gin Lang's default faceplates are nice; really like her default stoic scowl. Here, she's wearing her flustered expression, which is the only one with a molded mouth. I ordered some SOL faceplates in skin color C to make some new ones for her, but haven't taken the time yet; the base model has some issues I'll need to address first, which I'll get into later.

After giving Kuro Mao and Yuki Tu sheer stockings to match their outfits, I knew I wanted to do some leggings for Gin Lang and (when she finally arrives) Kin Xiao, and given her color schemes and more adult proportions, I figured I'd make Lang's leggings a pair of black latex thigh-highs. It was super-simple; laid down some Gaia 074 Neutral Gray IV, shaded with Mr Color GX101 Clear Black, then added a coat or two to the overall stockings to adjust the tone (Neutral Gray IV might've *still* been a bit too bright). Topcoated with Gaia EX Clear, applied the waterslide to the right calf, then gave it a second topcoat for even more shine.

Excellent effect, but I *really* need to sand down the joints before I do it again; it's already chipped off in some areas on the knees.

Some.colors I've picked out for painting the PUNI⭐MOFU Gin Lang kit. Heavy on medium/dark blues and metallics.

The assembled and painted PUNI⭐MOFU Yuki Tu kit I finished a couple months back. Gin Lang's default color guide incorporates a lot of similar colors to Yuki Tu, and I don't want 'em looking too same-y.

Those weapons (and the broom in the next photo) were the first things I ever painted with my airbrush, back in February or so.
