#ClocktoberMusic #MusicChallenge Day 5 The Hard Times - There'll Be A Time (1965 World Pacific 7") Double points! The band were regulars on "Where The Action is" for awhile. Giving me Beau Brummels vibes.

#ClocktoberMusic #MusicChallenge Day 4 The Byrds - She Don't Care About Time (1965 7" b-side) This should have been a cut on the second LP but as it was the flip of Turn! Turn! Turn!, I'm sure Gene got pretty good royalties anyway. Just a stunner.

#BrownAlbums #MusicChallenge Day 8 Shelagh McDonald - Richmond (Album, 1970) Shelagh was a contemporary of Sandy Denny and shared her Fotheringay rhythm section on this LP. It's a stunner! After two LPs, and an LSD bad trip in 1971, she disappeared back to Scotland,

#BrownAlbums #MusicChallenge Day 7 Sandy Denny - Blackwaterside (The North Star Grassman And The Ravens, 1971) It's complicated why Denny ditched Fotheringay, but this is basically them + Richard Thompson and guests. Fotheringport?

#BrownAlbums #MusicChallenge Day 2 Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Some of Shelly's Blues (Uncle Charlie & His Dog Teddy, 1970) I could probably just do country rock from this time period, the whole era was steeped in brown. Excellent cover of this Mike Nesmith song.
