My wife and I have 14 cats because we are very good at rescue and very bad at re-home, so I feel your pain and the disdain for those "owners."

Panthers GM Dan Morgan has talked about only wanting dogs. Great research into the team's front office by the daughter.

Sometimes it's to put some urgency in the players, so they aren't strategizing for an hour out of game in 5 minutes in game. I also try to randomize it too, so it feels less gamey. My players have reacted well to it, the pressure frequently brings out some interesting ideas.

Sometimes there is, sometimes something that seems inconsequential happens, sometimes nothing. I try to have things that make sense happen, like a band of ogres isn't going to show up and attack if there isn't a band of ogres nearby. But a guard moving to a different position? Sure.

I do this frequently any time my players start planning anything. Sitting outside the bandit camp planning an ambush? Timer. Trying to break into a Noble's house and are trying to decide how to enter? Timer. A great tool to make everything feel more tense, even if nothing is actually attached.

Me too! It always brings back nostalgia, like Christmas morning for most people. Leaves me warm and fuzzy.

Carousel was the first song I learned on bass 23 or so years ago. Teenage me was very influenced by this album.

No April Fools here, just a cute cat. His name is Otto.

Black and white cow cat on top of a fridge, on his back looking quite cute. Also an unnecessary man face and body (mine) on the left.

Black and white cow cat upsidedown on top of a fridge looking at the camera

Black and white cow cat with a blep (his tongue sticking out)

Just wanted to share this picture of some of my cats.

A skinny young black and white cat sleeping contentedly on a blanket in a lap

I'm really enjoying the exploration, it's not just sharing facts, which I also enjoy, but they're all about more than that. I also like the discussions about how modern cultures are interacting with the past. I don't know. I'm having a hard time articulating. I'm tired.

I'd have to go with the Medieval Africa and K12 Education or Medieval Memes, but with obligatory enjoyed all of them.

No biggie, just an ancient equivalent of a clay photograph that shows a man walking his dog 3,800 years ago in the city of Borsippa 🥹

I let my spouse choose the movie, so I'm watching Dracula: Dead and Loving It. I regret everything.

It's not the end of the campaign, just this arc, I guess. I think I'm just going to extend it and implement at least one of my ideas.

I thought of an idea for my current DnD campaign that 1. I can't believe I didn't think about when I first started writing this area 2. Is way better than everything I've put into it already. Kina makes me sad.

Pretty sure it's only the USB. If you're running out of those, I'd suggest a USB switch. I like mine a lot.

Yeah, Human Noble gets a lot of hate, but it is, in my opinion, still quite good and has great tie-ins to probably the most important parts of the game.
