Best wishes, and good luck. I think eggs are great but I also think sometimes we just don't like A Food for no good reason and that's fine too. Having said that, I hope you learn to like eggs. Fried with brown crispy edges.. here's what I do with devilled eggs, if it helps:

Gotta have breakfast for dinner sometimes. I love ful medames
A shallow bowl full of mashed Fava beans flavoured with lemon, garlic and chili topped by parsley, tomato and chopped onion with a fried egg on the side. On a separate basket woven plate are two fluffy pita breads

One of our dad's common midweek meals was a green salad with sliced tomatoes, bacon bits and devilled eggs. I still make it and it is still the best
The salad as described, with a bit of vinaigrette on a white plate with light blue and pink Blekinge colours in two lines on the rim

Pleased with this. I really miss Genoese style focaccia. It is not quite perfect but pretty close. Bit too chewy, but very good!

Five years since this chonker hurled his body into our door demanding to be let in, he'd been living wild (we worked out later) for about a year and a half. Best of buddies, a true blessing Adonis looking sonat home and loved is beautiful to see

Well, very pleased with this. Roast pork belly with cloudberry sauce on stir fried kale, bacon and garlic on cheesy polenta. Polenta went lumpy on me sadly, first time that's happened to me. Best pork I've cooked though, I think
Basically as the post says. Extra detail: on a white porcelain plate and you can just about see that yes, the skin is perfect

Just the most classic, incredible toad surrounded by grass and bits of wood. Stout, proud, unbowed

Made Hunan-style (Lamb) Chili Cabbage stir fry and bear's paw tofu for my brother as he is leaving here tomorrow. Good success, Cabbage was delicious. Tofu sauce was excellent, will alter tofu cooking method for next time I do this one.
A table set with a pale blue and white striped tablecloth

On the left is a rectangular white and blue Chinese china serving plate with pale waxy stir fried cabbage liberally mixed with dried chillies and fried minced lamb, flavoured with a bit of soy, black vinegar and ginger.

In the middle is a wok half filled with deep-fried tofu swimming in a red brown sauce of pixian doubanjiang, soy, sugar, garlic, ginger and spring onion whites with just a touch of Chinese vinegar. On the right is a pot of steamed white rice.

Made bread again, got the little bubbles on the crust this time! Pretty much perfect now for the swiss style bread I want. Not as pretty as from a real bakery but very happy
Two roughly 35cm long baguette-ish loaves with nice medium to deep brown crusy. Somewhat scuffed slices that didn't quite open up while baking as they should.Closeup of one of the loavesnshowing the tiny little bubbles in the crustA cross srction showing medium tight crumb but exactly the texture I was going for. Definitely holes but no big ones

Some devilled egg salad, always makes me think of my dad. No bscon bits though, which he always added but I didn't have any bacon at hand. I miss you, Daddie. May 1st he died, which seems very appropriate somehow.

Very pleased with this. Edges a bit thick, bit too much scorch on the kale but tasty crust, thin still with some chew
Top down view of the pizza with slightly browned mozzarella, somewhat too scorched kale. Rest is as described in post.Side view of the pizza and you can see it is very thin, just a few milimeters.Bottom view of pizza slice, nicely browned and no scorch

Bacon n beans n lentils n veg
A white ceramic bowl with light blue and light pink lined rim filledneith the aforementioned beans, bacon and lentils (though also onion, celery, carrot, oregano, thyme and paprika). It is a bowl of brown orange bean stew that honestly any non vegetarian would have a gold time with it, by the looks. Good bit of olice oil flosting on top but not tok much. There's a good pile of chopped parsley on top and a side plate with old style buttered knäckebröd.

It's not been super cold this winter but been snowy and just a bit below zero long enough that the sea froze nicely anyway
A scene of white snowy winter on the shoreline of a baltic island. In the foreground is an old rickety wooden jetty going out into a frozen white sea. The landscape in the middle distance is the other side of the bay with dark woods reaching all the way around from right to left. The sky is a bright and clear light blue with the full sun in the top left.Similar scene as first picture but straight to the west with the sun near the center of the picture, minus jettyThe same as previous picture but looking slightly east. There are dark rocks sticking out of the sea here and there and a scrubby tree on the right side clinging to somr rocks

A nice dal and one of my better naan attempts
A bowl of brown indian tal tempered with fried onions and the usual spices. Nice sheen of oil and the floating red chili, browned onions and such. There is also a small handful of chopped coriander. To the side is a rather large oven baked naan, it is a little hit browned but not really any black bits but otherwise good

Not the neatest bowl in the world but this was the best thing i've made in some time. The cabbage maybe ended uo making the soup a bit bitter after a bit, the cheap bit of ox cheek i got on sale was fantastic braised in the soup though. Lanzhou beef noodle soup
A chinese style blue and white soup bowl filled with a dark brown soup with a glisten of red chili oil and beef fat. To the side is blanched savoi cabbage and in the center, over a pile of hidden noodles, is a mix of braised ox cheek, braised dailon, blanched bean sprouts, chopped coriander, chopped red chili and spring onion.

A white bowl with light blue rim filled with chicken, cabbage, carrot, water chestnut, sliced makrut lime leaves, coriander, Thai basil all in a bright red oily coconut curry sauce. Had an early birthday with my twin sister, she came over since I can't travel right now. I made ghormeh sabzi for the first time with saffron rice and shirazi salad. Prinsesstårta for bithday cake.
Lamb, onions, dried limes and turmeric cooking down in a soup pot on the left of the picture and a large aluminion pan filled with finely chopped spring onions, parsley, coriander leaf and fenugreek leaves (methi) on the right.A white ceramic plate with rim of light pink and light blue. On the plate is a deep green brown stew of lamb, herbs, dried lime and turmeric. In the middle is a perfectly golden yellow line of saffron rice and on the right is a shirazi salad of cucumber, tomato, red onion, dried mint, pomegranate molasses and olive oilIn the center on a blue glass cake platter is a prinsesstårta, a sponge cake layered with raspberry jam, topped with whipped cream and all covered in a layer of green marzipan, lightly d'ustensiles with coing sugar. In the background are eight lit candles in brass candlesticks. Box of red wine and white wine on the right back of the table, oops

My mum is very sick and I am worried about her, not going into details just now, trying to do the work to keep her weight up so today was cottage pie, also bought a new blender for smoothies and such.
A cottage pie in a glass dish, lovely craggy pillowt potato on the meat and veg base worh browned bits on the potatoes after furrowing them with a fork. Honestly, was pretty good and has everything one would need.

First day of proper winter, though due to melt in the next day or two
A bright, clear winter day showing a front garden with dirt driveway in sweden going through a drystone wall. There are bare elms and rowan trees just beyond the wall on both sides, the sun peeking through low and slightly orange to the left about at the level of the first third of the trees. Everything is covered in about 5-10 centimeters of snow.

Lmao i sort of want to know now but probably not enough
The Guardian television critic Lucy Mangan gave the series zero stars out of five, writing that "I did not know it was still possible to make television this bad. I assumed that there was some sort of baseline, some inescapable bedrock knowledge of how to do it that now prevents any entry into the art form from falling below a certain standard. But I was wrong."

My first attempt at ful medames. Really excellent stuff, this. Simple and delicious
A table set with one small plate on the left filled by a hilariously puffed up fresh baked pita bread, flanked by a bowl filled with delicious brown mush that consists of fava beans, bit of salt and pepper, garlic, lemon juice and a bit of chopped fesh mild chili. The bowl is somewhat clumsily garnished with chopped tomatoes, thinly alived red onion, chopped cucumber, parsley and good italian olive oil.

Absolutely! This is about 10 mins walk away, one of the best pictures i have taken.
A picture at sunset in january on the coast of blekinge, sweden. The sea is frozen and covered in snow and a couple are skating across it in the distance, a low sun is casting an orange glow over the bottom of the scene, the distant moon is halfway up an almost clear powder blue sky

Made some pizza, will need some practice with this new recipe but it's very promising. I encourage people to try it. Used this recipe for the base, my usual seriouseats ny pizza sauce and my usual bscon, salami, onions and capers as topping: youtu.be/--KHL2oxMPE
A large square pizza, nicely charred in places but no burned cheese cooling on a wire rack. It looks about as you would want it.Side view of a slice of the pizza, you can see the thin crust with a bit of air in it and it holds nearly firm held straight out.Bottom of that same slice, definitrly cooked and lightly tan, could maybe be a little more done but definitely fully baked.
