I have 7 hours in this 6 race demo, and then I installed Steam on Batocera so I could put it on my CRT, where it *so* wants to be. (don't mind the blown out colors, it's just the picture)

Update came through finally, and now I got a mid-'00's ass desktop theme and it's rad as hell~

Okay, yeah, *this* is the Morrowind I've been looking for for all these years.

Managed to get ship of harkinian installed and running on batocera, installed a few mods and was blessed by this creature~

It took entirely too damn long to figure out what I was doing wrong and why the launch script wasn't working. I never set the script's permissions to executable 😩 Then I had to do the setup outside of batocera, but I did that as soon as I figured out why the script wasn't executing, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bad news! I got a new setup for my crt, using Batocera and Kodi, and casting youtube to it does this (╥﹏╥) at least I can adjust the video output, but why does this have to be so hard sometimes?

Resolution's too high for *proper* CRT playability. Image on CRT is less washed out, colors are brighter with more contrast. Dithering is properly blending pixels. There is a visible shimmer where greens aren't present, probably a result of resolution. Aspect ratio doesn't fit a 4:3 screen.

Update: I think I got a little too much alcohol (ps3 for scale) (also, the ps3 is too reflective and i had to cover the reflection of the strange goblin creature that took the photo)

Going online is too frictionless, these days, so I put buttons in my start menu to connect and disconnect so I'm only online when needed. i need to find a way to do this on my chromecast

Post a game you remember playing that no one else remembers I'm astonished I actually managed to find a screenshot of Jewel Chase. This game's eluded me for decades, at this point. (it doesn't help that i misremembered the name as jewel thief)

i have no idea what i'm doing, but i managed to make a thing~ this is the result of about two days of trying to figure out blender with minimal tutorials and a goal to work towards. idk if anyone else will think it's any good, but i'm happy with it, so far~

Well, you won't get the best experience with simulation or shader, but it's better than 1080p60. Personally, I just plugged my computer into an actual CRT tv :) (first image is an old setup with openmw running, for demonstration, second is my current setup)

And here I thought I got an impressive Morrowind shot, but it's nothing compared to these!

I cannot get a good picture of it, but I had to get Spyro running on the 4:3 CRT, that's just how these games are meant to be played lmao

Mission complete 😎 To explain the lengthy timeframe, I gave up part way through cause hardcore mode disabled itself and I saved past the point I could get those achievements and only recently came back and speedran to get those again.

tbf, this thing regaining its momentum and dropping to the ground would probably cause anyone to lose their faith, especially if it's so soon after they lost their faith in the god-kings of the tribunal 🤷🏻

Top four shows that got you into anime Death Note - the edgy teenager show that got me into anime FLCL - the first to fully grab my attention Steins;Gate - obsession. Witch Hunter Robin - the brainworm I saw once as a child before I was ever into anime and could never get out of my head.
