pixie has left the building. I’m officially done, my team gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sympathy card that is very sweet as well as a gift card and it made me cry. Happy National Apertif Day! An “apertif” is a drink meant to be enjoyed before dinner, used to stimulate the appetite. This is a classic, the Campari Sprtiz. Prosecco (I’d say about 4oz depending on the glass), 1oz of Campari, top with club soda and serve with an orange slice.
