The memorial graduation. After 14 years, I've officially finished my years of school and gotta start a new era of working either in college for animation or get a diploma for baking school. I'm struggling to see which one to do after doing adult school to finish my Sec 5 in French. #graduation

This image from Pixar’s ‘GATTO’ is not concept art, but the film’s final visual style. A Pixar Set Designer revealed the studio developed an entirely new production system, where sets were first modeled in 3D before artists hand-drew the details on top.

Artists who work at Pixar have confirmed in a new interview with Olga that Mark Ruffalo has been cast as the main character Neo in their next original film Gatto. I was already excited for this, especially with the stylized animation, but Ruffalo being in it is more exciting!

Jules from Pixar’s canned film “BeFri”. Feel so bad for the talented artists behind that production, Disney has no right to cancel a film over an audience demographic, especially when they’ve made female-led films themselves… most of which were successful. Disney, stop fucking over Pixar please!

From what has been confirmed so far, this is what the current schedule of Pixar films will be like up until 2029. So far, it’s looking pretty solid! Thoughts on each can be found via the ALT text, I don’t feel like making this a thread rn.

Toy Story 5: Cautiously optimistic, have a bit of hope for this based on marketing rn
Gatto: Promising, wonder if this’ll be another vibe movie since the Luca director’s attached to it
Ono Ghost Market: Intriguing, sounds like an interesting concept as a whole, but I wonder how they retooled this from the original Disney+ concept it was initially
Incredibles 3: Same as TS5. Hopefully they don’t fumble this time.
Coco 2: Read above. Release date is an estimate given the info provided and what I can allude to it being considering the first film released in November as well.
Musical/Monsters 3: Not much thoughts on these rn, but I am interested in what these can bring to the table.

Does ANYONE know how to rip films off Hulu successfully?!!? If so, PLEASE preserve the print of Toy Story that’s currently up on Hulu right now, it’s a unique HD print that utilizes the old logos on it, evident by these photos. There’s only a matter of time before they swap it with the 2009 print!!

Hoppers really feels like something that would NOT have been made during Lasseter's time at Pixar and is not something that he would have approved of. And I REALLY do mean that in a good way.

#Hoppers is Pixar’s zaniest movie yet! The art style’s distinct, the characters are lovable (Jon Hamm kills it as Jerry), and the themes of teamwork and nature are done in a fresh way. The last act was INSANE. Absolutely wonderful. Stay for the mid- and post-credits scenes!

Hoppers is frickin' great. It has a strong cast of lovable goofballs, a relaxed-yet-ridiculous plot, and interesting themes. It gets that character-driven Pixar heart into the film without ever feeling overly heavy or maudlin. Very strong film overall and one of Pixar's funniest in a while 🦫 🪵 🥔
