thoughts.pivic.com/from-japan-t... Damo Suzuki lived in Japan, sent a letter to a Swedish newspaper and asked for boarding for a month, got answers, went to Sweden, then off to Switzerland, on to Germany, and then, by utter accident, became the new singer of Can, one of the most mind-blowing bands.

From Japan to Sweden to other worlds: Damo Suzuki's odd trip to becoming the singer of Can

Can is not just a band: they're truly mind-blowing.

Losing Beck

His acclaimed album, Sea Change, was inspired by a breakup. For his ex-partner, it was the story of how the Church of Scientology took over his life.

pivic.blog/blog/two-kin... I've written about two kinds of serial killers: the one who murders people with their own hands and the one that murders people from behind their desk. #blog #CarolineFraser #BenjaminNathans #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #CriticalThinking #EdZitron

The cover of Caroline Fraser's new book 'Murderland: Crime and Bloodlust in the Time of Serial Killers'.

Ted Bundy's head is partly seen against the backdrop of a chimney from where tonnes of highly dangerous chemicals are dispersed into the atmosphere and, ultimately, into humans, animals, and the future.

The book cover of Benjamin Nathans's 'To the Success of our Hopeless Cause: the Many Lives of the Soviet Dissident Movement'.

White background, a glass of transparent liquid. The glass has been tipped over, the liquid having run.
