I forgot to caption the announcement image, here it is with the alt text

I have some devastating news to share.
As of September 5th 2025, KITR is no longer with us.
Her sudden sickness was unexpected, and in the following months I was grieving in privacy.
I cannot overstate enough how much I loved her, and just how important she was in my life.
Together we have traveled the world, and she'd been by my side in both the good and the bad.

I apologize for disappearing without a say, but I couldn't bring myself to break the news,
while knowing just how many of you adored her as well.
Both as a coping mechanism and a way to commemorate her far too short, but very memorable life,
I have been working on a large virtual memorial museum to share with everyone.

Certain parts of the museum are still in development, but my self-set deadline has now passed and the museum is releasing as is with this announcement. The museum will be receiving updates over time.

And last but certainly not least, the sealed pou. This one has not been unsealed ever since I received it.

Standard pou sealed in plastic vacuum packaging.

The same picture as the last one, but the lighting is all red instead of neutral.

Sixe view of the pou pouch, also in deep red lighting.

Next is the pou sleeping mask.

Turns out I forgot about 3 more items… Here is my pou neck pillow.

And finally we've got the pou shoes or slippers. Simply perfect.

Pou shoes facing the camera with a dark background behind.
They're big plush slippers with the characteristic pou expression and eyes.

The same scene, but now we can see the pou shoes from their side.

Same scene, but now we can only see the bottom of the pou shoes.

This one is pretty zooted.

Pou behind the same dark background, but this pou has different eyes.
They're fully circular instead of being a semi-circle.
Looks a little bit like the eyes on a pleading face emoji.

Pou worm.

Those two are my two biggest pous. For size comparison, these are photographed from the same distance as all the earlier ones.

A standard design pou that's noticeably bigger than the standard size, with a dark background behind.

Another standard design pou, but this one is the largest. Perhaps 3 or 4 times the size of a normal pou.

Continuing, there are also 3 small keychain pous.

Three small pous behind a dark background. They're keychains with a chain and a ring attached to the top of the pou.

Next we have the pregnant pou technology...

A pou with a zipper on the bottom, on a dark background facing the camera.

The same pou is now upside down with the zipper open. You can see two small pous poking out of the pouch.
One of the small pous has the same black coloring as the two colored pous from the previous posts, and the other is using the standard pou color.

The big pouch pou is no longer upside down, and the small pous are stacked on top of its head.

I also have 3 standard-sized pous with unique coloring. All of them are in good condition.

Three pou plushies on a dark background facing the camera.
The pou colors are in order: black, white, black.

The same three pou plushies on a light background facing the camera.

The next 4 pous are the most "deflated" units I own. They have less padding than the average pou, especially the bottom center one, as most of its mass has been redistributed into its eyes. Two of them have also suffered some damage, primarily from my cat @kitr.cat.

Four pou plushies on a dark background facing the camera.
Three of them are forming a row, and the final most deflated pou is below them at the center.

Same four plushies, but the two of them are rotated to show their damage better. One of the damaged pous is the most deflated one.

I have decided to share my pou plush collection with the world. #pou Let me start with the 3 most generic pous I own. As you can see from the second picture, two of them have suffered some damage.

Three pou plushies on a dark background facing the camera.

The same three plushies, but with two of them facing away from the camera.
One has visible stitches on its back, and the other has a ripped hole on the side.

She's so intimidating. I'm hiding up on my chair, help

A photo of a Maine Coon cat (named KITR) standing on a carpet and slightly looking up at the camera, with an angry-looking expression. She's also wearing a cone.

I've been fleshing out the timeline, embeds, and the post thread view. It's fascinating to learn how Bluesky actually works, as opposed to what my expectations were.

I've started developing a new Bluesky app in Flutter. My goal is for it to be cross-platform, supporting at least Windows, Linux, and Android. Plus, it's a good excuse to do more flutter :^)
