Was any of this Russia “take over from within” stuff included in Heritage Foundation/Project 2025 or is it all just Trump on his own for Putin.

I still have some which were my mother’s and a couple that I received as wedding gifts

Well that might at least provide a bright spot in the game!

Happy Birthday Sadly my fav Black Cherry Chocolate Truffle was missing from the shelf of my grocery store today so I’ve had to settle for salty Caramel🤔

Have used dryer balls (New Zealand made) for years. Agree that there’s nothing more awful than sitting down for dinner outside in the summer and the neighbour lets forth with a scented dryer load!

also encourage businesses to use Canada Post instead of UPS, FedEx etc thereby increasing their volume/revenue.

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I think my point was mis-understood. I am very much for buying Canadian and am fine with paying higher price to support Canadian businesses. My point was Canada Post could find a way to also support Canadian businesses (especially small) by offering cheaper rates for in country shipping. This might

230

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

True, but often you need to spend quite a lot. I would just like to see a cheaper rate for in country shipping. I think it would help smaller businesses and consumers.

210

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

It would be so much easier to buy Canadian and support businesses through online purchasing if shipping didn’t add so much to the cost. Maybe Canada Post could find a way to give Canadian to Canadian shipping cheaper!

I don’t really believe that hate solves anything - look what hate has done to the United States. It has been so devisive when unity is what is needed. It is sad to see a once great country’s form of government dissolve into such a chaotic mess. It no longer serves its citizens.

I used to be told when dealing with bullies “ignore them and they will go away! They only do it for attention”. Maybe that’s how bully Trump (USA) should be treated.

She does not speak for this Canadian - I am NOT confused, period!

Yes my humrents know I am really good at it too!

He has no authority to rename anything not completely inside the US borders. This nonsense should be ignored - the attention just encourages more of his nonsense.

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

It would probably help Canadians to support Canadians if the inter-provincial barriers were removed (some, but not all have been) and I think that retailers, particularly grocers, should have to provide country of origin info. It is now a matter of both food safety and sovereignty

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Trying to buy Canadian but label info for these crackers is a tad confusing 🤔🤔

Photo of Breton crackers -label says both “product of USA” and “Canadian Family Business”

What do they think will be different next year??

000

pipcha.bsky.social @pipcha.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I believe Avery Family Farms has sadly ceased operations. It’s really too bad - their lettuce was amazing, lasted well and was reasonably priced. It’s hard to see a good Canadian food producer close. In the interest of food sovereignty farms like these should get govt help.

Items stolen from Salish Blanket Co on Granville Island, keep an eye out for these weavings. Details: www.instagram.com/p/Dbq72iKErq...

Screenshot from an Instagram account with a photo of a woven blanket and caption:

aleensparrow STOLEN ITEMS - PLEASE SHARE AND HELP US BRING THESE HOME
Last night, Salish Blanket Co. was broken into. While damaged property can be repaired, something priceless was taken from our store that can never be replaced.
Stolen from the shop was a hand woven blanket created by my son, Isaiah, as his Grade 12 capstone project. He gifted it to me and it is one of my most cherished and invaluable possessions.
The second blanket is a weaving by @atheanapicha gifted to my mother…
