Fresh post about commissions with some sweet recent examples! I mostly do illustrations, I don't really have fixed rates, I like fantasy/pseudo historical things, fun colours, changing styles and all that. My DMs and my mind are open 👐

So there it is, a 4-panel History of Justice! If you're interested in that type of commission (or most other types, frankly!), I'd love to do more 🥰

Digital painting. Hammurabi stands atop the ziggurat, in the golden morning sun. Inspired by the blinding light, he enounces his Code to be dutifuly inscribed in stone by the faithful tiny & Tall. tiny is doing his best, and is being judged by Tall, who is doing better. Below them, ancient Babylonians discuss matters of law, and the image fold back into an ancient gravure, and the whole image is revealed to be a painted artefact, with its name written at the bottom: "Sagesse" ("Wisdom").

Digital painting. Ancient Rome setting. In a large room, a figure in a toga (everyone here is wearing a toga) is pointing a figure at an outraged Tall, while tiny frantically tries to find sources in ancient parchments and tablets. The sun is setting behind one of the hills behind them.

Digital painting. In a salon, clad with heavy velvet curtains, a messy fistfight among politicians. Tall triumphantly brandishes a papier with "Monarchie Républicaine" (republican monarchy) written on it, while tiny feebly attempts to defend his own "République Monarchique" (monarchic republic).

Si vous craignez l'impact de l'apparition de l'IA générative sur la démarche artistique, le mieux me semble, si vous en avez la capacité, d'encourager vos auteurs/artistes préférés, ceux dont vous percevez une patte, une âme, un état d'esprit, un style, bref un truc humain.

Panel 2: In a high-tech laboratory, tiny & Tall, scientists, look excitedly at screens.
tiny: "My god, professor Tall, we... we're receiving a response!"
Tall: "And it's in binary! I'm loading the translator!"

Panel 3: Tall looks at the transcribed message, disappointed. tiny excitedly asks "so?!"
The translated message reads:
"Hello neighbors, please keep quiet in the galaxy. PS: Your probe fell in our garden again, it's the third time this stellar cycle-"
