/6 Totally misspoke in this video. By "a lot of visible life" I mean "ALL visible life". At 2.4 ba Earth was still pretty much anaerobic, and the power struggle between those anaerobic lifeforms and oxygen producing cyanobacteria was just kind of starting. Also I'm sorry, it was very sunny.

A male Orchelimum katydid regaling us with some nice tunes. Katydids have structures called scrapers and files on the edges of their wings that produce sound when rubbed together. Crickets do the same, but this is different from the way that grasshoppers stridulate (rubbing a leg against the wing).

Well my projector tech was a bust 😂 Used a grid the old fashioned way. Sketch is done! Canvas to Procreate comparison. I switched the bamboo spout out for a lantern for some interesting lighting, but I may put the spout back in too.

I never got to share this!! This was my submission for the Oops! All Comics anthology that @cartoonist.coop released this year. The theme was Eureka!
