⚠️ Just a heads up art friends!!! VISTA PRINT is running stuff through AI if you ask for fixes! My friend made a shirt through them to wear for a con and the first print was too dark so she asked them to please fix it so they uh i guess ran it through AI? stop using vista print

comparison chart of vista print using AI to brighten an image thus making all the image... bad.

the AI "fix" of the original image vista print provided

the original piece sent to vista print to be printed on a shirt.

shirt comparison, top is the AI fix bottom is the original dark piece and why it was asked to be remade from vista print.

Manta ray painting, after the sketching I shared a few days ago. I’ve always loved rays. It’s delightful watching their elegance, speed, & curiosity. I also love the way light plays across the sand when I’m underwater. I’ve aimed to capture both in this piece. #OceanDevotion #sciart

Mr. Sleepy Man sorta cosplaying Patchouli Knowledge. Mostly because they're both anemic. Other characters fit him too but I thought of Patchouli first. @mrsleepyman.bsky.social @monstertheater.bsky.social

I do not think it's actually possible for MAGFest to move to a new venue. The 24-hour thing is obviously a factor, and it'd be too cold in January to do what DragonCon does.

Today, we launched a Switch game! It’s, of course, Devin’ Santi’s Mr. Sleepy Man! This launch has been so fun to work on and we’re having a blast exploring Bedtime Town...on the go! We’re so incredibly proud of our sleepy little fella 💤

I don't think it can even find a bigger venue. The 24 hour thing is definitely rare

I have been told I was some evil asshole for wanting refunds after little progress after a year because "what if they have things going on" okay. I'd still be out hundreds of dollars. If I take commissions, within 4 months or I pay back. If the worst happens to me, my spouse will refund.

Pink Poodle @pinkpoodle.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

"But we're human, we have lives and feelings" your customers are humans, have feelings too, and they paid you. With their money. You need to consider them too. Scam victims feel shame and anxiety, and even PTSD symptoms. "But my mental health" I've seen. Okay, what about mine?

120

Pink Poodle @pinkpoodle.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Also you can't just dump trauma on your customers when you don't deliver. It is unprofessional and can make them feel uncomfortable, and may also come off as guilt tripping. Especially if you refuse to refund or go past the claim date. I've essentially "fired" artists/makers who've done this.

Look idk who needs to hear this cause I've seen alot of artists over the years dig this exact hole, but you need to finish your commissions. A percentage of your clients are going to be repeat commissioners. Another percentage of your clients heard about you from word of mouth. 🧵

- Taobao: e.tb.cn/h.RJBEAbFBZSUb eou?tk=P15ug7dePqh - Superbuy proxy recommended for Taobao: s.spblk.com/f96u The base price is about $16 USD (without shipping) and $17 USD with the hat. Shipping to my house in USA cost about $18 for one fanmade Fumo last time from Superbuy
