the concept of using hashtags to be discovered is so simple and natural. you're tagging your post so people who are interested in the things you tagged see it. and yet it feels sooo dirty and disgusting like you're a cheap whore throwing yourself at people i hate it i hate it i hate it so much fuuck

and this extends a lot further than just those specific topics. so many text posts feel like they're bots. so many accounts will (knowingly or not) post art that doesn't FEEL like it's AI generated but checking the source shows it is. this is really disheartening, dead internet theory is dreadful

by that i mean: if you see a random project, whether it's an app or a game or whatever pop up on your feed. what's the first question that comes to mind? personally, it's "will this be AI slop or a scam?" and that's really sad. i don't wanna have to think this way but it often is right to be wary.

everything about making a game is awesome except the part where you have to actually make a game. i love making music and sound effects and characters and portraits and sprites and rooms and dialogue and plots but pulling everything together with code feels worse than the sum of all those positives

I'm getting so close to completing the full DARKHAND PROLOGUE and oh my goddd man it feels so good. This stupid thing's so charming. I can't wait for everyone to be able to experience it (this is an unfinished room though so don't judge yet!!!)

remember when updating was willfully getting a disc with the new version on it? now windows 11 randomly updates in the background without my consent even though i don't have the space for it and freezes my PC, making stuff crash sometimes, for up to like 15 mins at a time every time i log on. kys!
