Good morning to everyone apart from Kathleen Stock. I hope she is having the truly awful morning that she deserves.

Screenshot of a times article by Kathleen Stock. Headline is "why are young women using walking sticks". The photo is a smug white terf who is unqualified to comment on whether or not people should be using mobility aids.

Im so sorry for your loss. Its so unbelievably hard losing a pet. The Blue Cross have a pet bereavement service, my partner and I found it very comforting when we had just lost our cat and were struggling with our grief, the volunteers there are wonderful.

Just seen the comments section on an amazing painters photos of his Custodes models and it was vile. To any Warhammer curious people out there, dont let internet comments sections about female custodes put you off. Most people who are actually in the community arent insecure incel pricks.

Played my first game of new DoK Battletome (me) against new Sylvaneth Battletome (Scott) (I was using Bundo as my shrine). Lots of fun, especially new Morathi, some new mechanics to get used to but feeling generally positive about the changes.

Finally finished painting something after a bit of a hobby drought. Lorai from Blacktalons (other Blacktalons 90% finished). Particularly happy with the face.

A closeup up of a miniature models face. Its a Caucasian elf, with a veil over their lower face, dressed in blue.

On a positive, less sad note, Blue Sky, please meet Ursa. We rescued her from a shelter a few weeks ago. She had been there almost a year because the stress of being there was making her lash out at potential adopters. Since she has settled in at home she has become super playful and affectionate.

Seeing Jenny Savilles work in person at the National Portrait Gallery was so inspiring. The master of painting flesh tones.

A large oil portrait on a white gallery wall. It shows a caucasian woman lying down, with her reflection at the bottom of the frame. The paint in some places has been applied with precision and in other places applied with a palette knife. The painting is warm toned.
