It's one of the great things about adventure games*, isn't it? It's not about rushing. Plenty of time to stop and dilly dally in a lil Easter egg. *and Call of Duty, apparently

Yeah, I found it difficult to articulate too. It was such a personal project - from the player's perspective and the devs.

I agree with this too. Though I absolutely loved Thimbleweed Park. But they are two different beasts really.

Happy anniversary, Return to Monkey Island (2022) 🥳 I was on holiday when it was released so I played it on the Steamdeck in a hot tub which was different. I loved it. The ending was beautifully melancholic, relatable, and will stay with me for a long time. #monkeyisland

Can anyone recommend a good retrogaming/adventure games/old games feed that isn't 90% Sonic or Nintendo posts? Something that pulls in LucasArts, Sierra, that sort of thing. TIA!

I'm on Tumblr now, by the way (piecesofkatecreates). Haven't got the hecky peck how to use it but feel free to follow me. I should warn you that I'm using it pretty much exclusively for X-Files / fanfiction. Once I figure out what I'm doing.
