After the MHA, Bebop and One Punch collabs I really had this tiny glimmer of a Sailor Moon collab in my heart, but I guess that's never gonna happen now. But these concepts all looks really cute 🥹

Lost Soul Aside and Tides of Annihilation were my favorites too. They immediately caught my attention. Seeing more from the MGS3 Remake and also getting a definite release date is also great. Now I just gotta get a completely new pc until August 😭🫠

People were sceptical at first because they feared Konami would change too much, but now it's pretty obvious it's a 1:1 Remake with new models (which actually look amazing), new physics engines etc. It basically will be completely modernized, controls will most likely be optimized and smoother etc.

Hmmm, with the next Tomb Raider Remasters dropping on Friday, I might actually do a couple of Twitch streams again. I wanted to for a while anyway.

Overwatch has really cool lore, I just wish they would make a tv show 😭 Imagine if Overwatch had its own Arcane

Panel 1: two crows are walking in the snow as a heavy but gentle snow falls around them.
Panel 2: one says to the other while looking ahead "Heh, that lump of snow looks like..."
Panel 3: what they thought was a lump of snow opens its eyes, revealing itself to be a pure white snowy owl.
Panel 4: "Gasp" gasps the second crow. "... a spirit!" exclaims the first.

I don't know what she's like in Rebirth, but in Intergrade her combat was really fun because of her synergy attacks with Sonon, but also due to her having great long-range and close-range as well as elemental attacks. Very balanced kit and very fluid.

I randomly found this picture I took a couple of months ago in my camera roll. I don't quite know what it is, but for me there's something so serene and peaceful about it.

A photo taken near the end of summer 2024 in one of the many cobblestone alleys in Marburg, Germany. It's called "Steinweg" in German which literally translates to "stone road".
In the foreground and lower third you can see an old railing made of solid stone blocks every few feet and iron rods connecting them.
Right behind the railing are several tall and old oak trees in one neat row down the street, making this an avenue. The trees take up most of the picture and are carrying lush green leafs. Some of the old half-timbered houses are peeking through between the trees. The houses have several different colours, blue, yellow and a pinkish-red colour among them.

As someone who primarily played Anni in the HD collection on PS3, I always thought it was beautiful. It definitely is the superior version. Yeah I get what you mean. The foliage looks kinda plasticky at times and some of the temple murals are also... interesting 🫣

Me too. I have the og on PS2, then the Remaster for PS4, Switch and on Steam 😭👍🏻 Never had a PS vita, otherwise I would have had it on there too most likely 🫡

Ally aka Alya | Jacob's Wife™ @piccadally.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

Honestly, some of the textures are a little... weird (?) in comparison to the og ones, but they did not really bother me. What bothered me was the drastically different lighting, it took away a lot of the charm

I hate that these (often lazy) recolours are so expensive. I'm not gonna dish out 20 quid for a recolour skin.

Ally aka Alya | Jacob's Wife™ @piccadally.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

Her combat is so fun though, I had a blast with her in Intergrade. Only Tifa has better combat imo

Ally aka Alya | Jacob's Wife™ @piccadally.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

I can also wholeheartedly recommend the Distant World versions of Dancing Mad and Terra's theme. There's also a FFVI character theme medley that is so so good. 🥰

Yeah, I hope I can finally upgrade in March, ideally with a 4070 once the 50xx gen drops 🥲

Kingdom Hearts series is also up there, because Yoko Shimamura is simply a goddess when it comes to composing. Dearly Beloved is one of the single most-beautiful songs in any game for me

000

Ally aka Alya | Jacob's Wife™ @piccadally.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

Final Fantasy series easily. My favourites are probably X/X-2, XV and VII (Remake), but you can legit pick any FF game OST and you will always have so many good songs on it. Close 2nd place is the Zelda series. 💜

Omg yes! Her Zeus skin is by far the best one. It's powerful, it's sexy, but also beautiful! I wish she would get more variety and not almost exclusively these rough tomboyish-looking skins she tends to get a lot of.

So uhm... I wanted to finally upgrade my pc after 7 years and checked the prices for GPUs... Wtf man, bitcoin on the rise again after the felon got reelected and now I gotta dish out 300€+ more. Thanks for nothing.

The tank synergy is the selling point for 6v6 imo, so most tank mains should prefer 6v6. There will also be nothing that can beat the feeling of having that Rein/Zarya synergy. Having an extra tank that can, if needed, peel for supports just feels a lot better, but also requires more teamplay.
