One example of what's causing me problems: Some icons have a tooltip that immediately appears. For other tooltips, there's a really ambiguous title (would you have guessed this takes me to a 3rd party side?) that takes a few seconds to pop up.

It seems to be in lockdown mode right now. Which is very understandable, after that wave of spam.

On a more positive note, I kinda committed on stage that we'll add them as an experimental AC feature, indepenendently of how long the RFC still takes to get merged ;) Now I just need time to implement that ^^

We're in the middle of releasing Apollo Client 4.0 right now. Not sure if GitHub will let us though.

@github.com feature request: When applying code suggestions from Copilot reviews, make the commit message "Apply suggestions from code review 🤖🤖🤖" with robot emojis at the end.

A meme with a rabbit removing parts from a jenga tower.
The jenga tower is labeled "Polyfills", the Rabbit is labelled "Apollo Client 4.0".

Coco has the first New Year's eve of her life right now. We're visiting my parents because it's less noise here, but so far she does really well. I hope you have a safe night with Mika!

But yes, the perf benefits could be more in the center - they are mentioned, but not as the core benefit. Afaik it was a bit difficult to find a good angle for everything here. I'll pass the feedback on.
By structuring queries to be composed of smaller fragments, you’re optimizing the number of renders in your React app. It’s like having @nonreactive applied to your query automatically! Any component containing useFragment will only re-render if the fields used in that fragment are changed, making your app more predictable and performant.

Oh, btw., look into alternatives. I got myself a Glove80. Should be 200$ less.

Very cool, but something about the stars seems to be calculated inconsistently. Do you get the React stars counted and I don't get the Apollo Client and Redux Toolkit stars counted? 🤔

A small preview of what I'm working on right now. This is data fetched via the `<PreloadQuery` component in a React Server Component, rendered in SSR, then hydrated in the browser, and then more data comes streaming in from the RSC server due to the GraphQL `@defer` directive.
