#PhrixArt #Smaugust Sabaton Wyrms live in and around underwater volcanic vents. The deep sea vents provide them with the chemicals they subsist on and is responsible for the iron plates covering their foot. They have a false eye beneath their horns, but researchers can't agree on what it does.

#PhrixArt #Smaugust Sandfish Drakes rest beneath the sands of the Boiling Desert. Periodically, gases are pushed upwards from deep underground, fluidizing large pockets of the desert sand. The Sandfish Drake then swims through the sand, dragging down animals caught unaware by the shifting sands.

Between constant headaches, life stuff, trying to adjust to a new studying routine, and playing fighting games, I haven't been drawing anything finished. I am planning on doing some smaugust stuff though, seems like it'd be a nice change of pace from my usual drawings.

Mushroom people was another suggestion I got. The King Oyster one was an attempt to draw the Dark Souls mushroom people from memory that I pivoted into what it is now. #PhrixArt

After 2 surgeries and ALMOST 2 years of recovery time, I'm finally doing well enough health-wise to get back to drawing regularly. Probably not enough to make more polished stuff, but I needed to hold off on that stuff anyways. Only doing studies or full illustrations kept burning me out.
