I'm watching the rain and it is very nice. Kids are walking in and out of the library, two boys are playing truth or dare, the guy with an e-bike who looks like Santa is hanging out, and one girl is just enjoying standing in the rain. If this isn't nice, I don’t know what is.

The Chainsaw Man movie is...fine. Kinda highlights the wider problem of this series in returning to the same well while throwing in a few new characters to talk through the same ideas. Because I have a friend who is a huge fan I've read the manga, and know it is gonna do this about 25 more times.

Honestly, I have no idea how anyone can build a trusting readership with even the hint of ai. Even when there are mistakes, it matters that they are human mistakes that can be attributed and understood. Seductive sure is a convenient word for cowardice and academic laziness.

I think public utilities, most notably education, suffer from the "I went to school" model of assuming expertise having experienced one end of a system. Of course I listen to my students about their experience, but they also don't see 80% of what is going on at every level to make school happen.
