I saw that Trump is planning on Imposing tariffs on items coming from China, Mexico & Canada on his first day as President, which isn't going to bring down prices & it's going to put us back in inflation territory, which could lead to recession.

I remember first being turned onto RE-ANIMATOR through a blind buy at my local Sam Goody (remember them) in 2002 & really enjoyed the film. It's definitely a horror film that's turned up to 11, especially with the blood/gore and the infamous scene.

What happens? An election. Say the 2026 midterms. But it’s a fake one, as by then the House GOP has passed a bill to end early voting and absentee balloting (except soldiers), close as many urban polling sites as possible, level onerous ID burdens—i.e. an election in which most Democrats can’t vote.

Once Trump fully controls—not in the usual way, but in the would-support-a-future-autocoup way—the USIC, USAF, and DOJ, and Musk has excised from government service anyone in any Department who would oppose an autocoup (Maye Musk indirectly implied nonwhites and women may be targeted), it happens.

Stephen Miller makes clear the work DHS will do under Noem will deport some Americans—presumed to be Democratic voters—by ending birthright citizenship retroactively (illegal) and denaturalizing (illegal). Atop all of this we have Trump darkly warning Congressional Republicans, just today, that they have to find a way to ensure he gets a third term. He explicitly refused to confirm he wouldn’t be a candidate for POTUS again, though it would be illegal for him to be a candidate again and he knows it.
