Trump's Davos speech shows (among other things) how energy becomes a further area of US-EU divergence. It was filled with false claims about renewable energy prices, production capacities and supply chains. As a response, Europe must put more, not less effort into its energy transition and autonomy.

Was nicht genug betont wird: Soziale Spannungen sind keine automatische Konsequenz von Klimapolitik. Mit den richtigen Maßnahmen (z.B. Klimageld, Unterstützung für einkommensschwache Haushalte in der Wärmewende) können Klima- und Energiepolitik sogar Ungleichheiten reduzieren.
