I had a 'phase?' where I went deep reading about Zoroastrianism while waiting and waiting to read Fate/Hollow Ataraxia because I couldn't get at the visual novel, and I heard it had Zoroastrianism in it... so I went and read the Gathas and scholarly JSTOR articles instead.

I finished Fate/Hollow Ataraxia: Interlude and it looks for all intents and purposes like I cleaned up and didn't miss any shorts on my way through. The game's at 94% so I'll be playing Hanefuda and seeing if that alters the % completion rate further. That knocks out one of my last college grails.

I should go to bed, but I'm very proud of my efforts today... At exactly 12:02 a.m. on October 12 I hit the Last Interlude in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia I missed settling the matter of the Time Loop from October 8-11 by only 2 minutes I pushed as far into Interlude as I dare, but I'll need to go to work

Man, I wish I'd seen your working guess before I went through all of 1912-1916 Oldsmobile, Oakland, and Reo... I only saw that you had the same answer I came to after I found it. Lots of them have similar features, but only the Buick looks like it. It looks like someone took off the Hood ornament.

It's 2026 and I am languidly at the 75% completion mark on Fate/Hollow Ataraxia... I got stalled for a while because Bungie made this great game called Marathon and I cranked 318 hours before I sat up and was like... this game has no end goal... SOO, I'm all about Fate/Hollow Ataraxia again.

I originally watched Fate/Stay Night in 2007, and started laying the brickwork to play the visual novel in 2008, and finished laying the brickwork in 2013, and started reading it, then had my computer crash and wipe out my save. I started reading again in 2014 and finished reading it in 2016.

Anyways... I think it's wild that Fate/Stay Night is only 18 dollars and everyone should buy a copy... I plunked down $140 in 2 purchases over 7 years to patch it together with the Mirrormoon translation years ago and now it's officially released and it's 1 ready to use purchase of $18. Passion!!!

I ended up with the Fate/Hanafuda Card Game for the PSP in 2008 because I was trying to get more bang for my buck buying the visual novel in a region and language I couldn't directly use. I guess it made each game I had no use for beyond the Audio patch... $35 dollars each. WORTH IT!

I wonder how many Typemoon fans have specifically bought the Fate/Stay Night Visual novel 3 times? Back in the day you needed the $70+ PC 3 Cd-Rom or the Dvd Rom to install the game and patch the English. You needed the $70+ PS2 disk to install audio. Now it's on steam or Nintendo E-Shop for $18.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get another chance to play the Fate/Hanafuda psp game in a functional form... Is it too much to ask for Fate/Tiger Colosseum? That'd be so amazing, I'd buy an English Steam port of that soo fast.

I don't actually have a PSP, I borrowed a roommates back in the day to see what the PSP game was like and all I remember was that I couldn't read anything and it felt almost like the game was playing itself... I think I was winning, I lost interest pretty rapidly due to the language barrier.

I finally unlocked the Hanafuda card game in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia... Started playing it... wait a minute, this looks familiar. Aah, it's that odd PSP game I got with PS2 Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua in 2008, but it's subtitled, I know what the heck is going on now! Saber wants Onsen Eggs... yum.

I think if a kid is super into anime and calling things by their Japanese names... let them, it might be useful, and if it isn't it will fade. I was also the kid who memorized the scientific names of fish: Pterophyllum Scalare, Neolebias ansorgii, Synchiropus Splendidus, indostomus paradoxus... 🐠

Pterophylum Scalare: Commonly known as Angelfish... a regularly appearing fish popular in the aquarium trade.

Neolebias Ansorgii affectionately named Ansorgi's Neolebias because they gave up on the naming of fish with this one. It needs rather acidic water and is not very easy to keep so it rarely appears in the hobby. I only know this one from the Baensch atlases.

Synchiropus Splendidus: Mandarin Dragonet... THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FISH IN THE WORLD!!!! I never made enough money to try a saltwater tank... and this is not the one I should learn how with... these fish are finicky eaters adn do best in a setup with a living rock in the aquarium setup... or at least that was the recommendation in the early 2000's when I was still reading Aquarium Care books.

indostomus paradoxus: I know this one as the Paradox fish... but it looks like the name Toothpick Fish is also accepted. It's possible this one has been at a pet shop I was visiting once when I was special ordering some Blue Eyes... but it's more likely to be found at the hobbyist shop for aquarists than at a Petco or Petsmart.

I suppose I should then elaborate, what is perfection if not the feeling of completion. Good and Evil are forged together and as a unity summon the universe... not because there is a God, but simply that the dam on the mind has burst. A force uncontrollable, a grief inconsolable, a Roaring river.
