So happy help was readily found- strangers helping is just the best travel experience. I did laugh at the sign language & a couple words bc that was my exact Sardinia convo experience 😂 We were lost trying to find our villa due to partner turning up to find it w/o a street address 🤦🏼‍♀️

Tampa has been leading the charge. I’m making sure I spray myself now when I mow the yard or wash the dog. Yuck! We’ve been getting frequent helicopter spraying of the bt anti-mosquito stuff too.

#ParkChat I think my last park visit was Feb, when I took a day off skiing (snow was very meh) & did a N Yellowstone day.

Thank goodness my work (which was part-time as my semi-retirement gig) offered me FT hours this spring so that I have health ins thru them. I didn’t really want to, but with the cost of everything & the ACA changes giving me constant stress, I had to.

I knew nothing of wiring etc but he overplayed his hand when he said guy who wrote estimate didn’t clip the meter lock & check the wiring— I was off to the races w/“well I guess you should hire electricians who can write a proper estimate but that’s a you problem so I expect you’ll eat the cost”

I call this “homeowning while female” and grrrrr it is annoying. I don’t think the electricians in July expected me to hold out face to face for nearly an hour for them jacking the estimate from under $1600 to over $3200 in less than 24hrs.
