All good! I’ve been MIA on here myself for a while. Been busy with school, work and moving to Europe but I also plan on sharing more. Looking forward to seeing your work!

lol my son goes from “Hey don’t take my picture!” to “wait….what is this” to “oh I gotta smile for the camera” lol #sony #a7r5 #85mm #gmaster #blackandwhite #portrait

Bathed in the timeless elegance of black and white, this photograph captures a quiet, introspective moment of childhood. A young child sits at a table, their gaze gently directed toward something unseen, as if lost in thought. The soft, natural light plays across their features, accentuating the delicate contours of their face and the subtle texture of their short-sleeved, star-patterned shirt.

The background fades into a dreamy blur, an effect beautifully achieved with the Sony a7r5 and the exquisite 85mm f1.4 G Master lens. The shallow depth of field isolates the subject with precision, pulling the viewer into the quiet intimacy of the scene. The reflective surface of the table adds depth, mirroring hints of light and shadow, while scattered objects—indistinct but present—suggest the warmth of a lived-in space.

This image is a study in softness and nostalgia, evoking the simplicity and wonder of childhood. The monochrome tones strip away distractions, leaving only pure emotion and composition. It's a frame that speaks in hushed tones, inviting the viewer to pause and appreciate the beauty in the everyday.

A young child sits at a table, lost in thought, their gaze soft and introspective. Gentle natural light highlights their features, while the 85mm f1.4 G Master lens creates a dreamy blur in the background. The monochrome tones strip the scene to its essence—quiet emotion and simplicity.

I think people fail to realize we need both the emotional temperament of a Kirk with a logical balance of a Spock to be a good team. Being only “logical” fails to understand certain contexts that is important in decision making while relying on emotion to can lead to unintended consequences
