The End and the Death (Warhammer Horus Heresy) novels have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person narration. All of the Horus scenes are 2nd person, as he no longer has dominion over his own soul.

MGS series is great for it. In MGS1 Grey Fox used to be Snake's best friend, but they fought each other to the death in battle. Snake still considers Fox his best friend: "war is no reason to ruin a friendship."

Richter is the hero of the previous game. In SotN you see him as the self-declared evil ruler of the castle. If you don't pay attention you kill him as the fake final boss and the credits role. If you follow his friend, Maria's, quest, you see he is possessed and can free him to continue the game.

Yeah I know a lot. Final Fantasy 4 you fight your friend, Kain. A reversal too, the protag's brother is a main villain but redeemed for the sequel. A Way Out is a story-based co-op game which ends in a fight with your partner. Metal Gear Solid 1 with Grey Fox, and 3 with The Boss, are my favourites.
