I am watching a woman's hundred match. LS are well on top. The MI batters all play with really "low" hands. They aren't able to get over or through the ball as a general rule. LS have bowled well. The standard is noticeably better than 3 or 4 years ago.

But so far I haven't answered the question really. For that I have to dig back to the annuals of time... To my collection of late 90s and early 2000s county bats. Also here is my wonderful SAF Genus bat. This was the twin to an award winning bat Andy made. Some beautiful bats here.

Ooh. So pads and gloves in the bag...my H4L love in continues... Just to add to this, for £250 I have picked up pads, gloves and a bat for this summer. All absolutely top gear. Cricket doesn't have to be expensive.
