The Cazneaux Tree late yesterday - and a raven - can you see it? This tree was made famous by Harold Cazneaux who took a photo of it in 1937 that he titled 'The Spirit of Endurance'. It is a river red gum and is estimated to be 500 years old.

Ha ha. Well we did have 3 living in our roof cavity for some time (a big male and a mother and joey). Managed to catch them and seal the holes they were using to get in. Got them a few possum houses in the trees and some eaves trays that I can remove if they become a problem. We are at peace now.

We are generally at peace. We had some issues 2 years ago when we went on holidays. Came back & a monstereo in a pot was devoured. We shifted it out the front to let it recover. It is good now. We have covered some of the deck potplants with bird netting which has worked. The garden has food trees.
