Until you sit through these kinds of wait, in pain and afraid, you have no idea how terribly long those waits are… and 50% will wait longer. Dani FUBAR’d things so bad she isn’t even trying on EMS and ED wait times any more She’s given up… focusing on non-hospital private pay care instead

The wait times are no longer close to real… they’re a random number generator that the UCP govt forced someone to break. If the waits are posted as long just know it will be longer!

I can't get over the visual of you walking through the waiting area with your portable visa machine!! Despite all the evidence Smith et al appear unable to see how much worse things will be with the "pay to play" scenario. I have to wonder who is gaining from this. It is certainly not Albertans.

Due to Smith's closing the vast majority of ER depts across the province, if you plan on needing one, expect a very long wait. People die waiting in ER. Let's hope you're not the next one. We need Smith OUT so we can rebuild our health care. I'm so tired of hearing about people suffering.

Estimate ED Wait Times in Calgary this week - and these are NOT accurate... most will wait longer than the posted time. NO ONE would argue that this is safe in any way. Key issues: severe shortage of emergency nurses. At times various of these EDs can be 9-10 nurses short! 1/3
