I am replaying The Guardian Legend yet again, and it's somehow even better than I remembered. I bought it new for 10 bucks at a toy outlet in 1990 or so, and it transformed what I thought games could be. Space Zelda Compile vertical shooter where RPG elements affect both modes?! Yes please.

If you want your computer to be reliable & fun, this is probably the best time in history to try Linux. Media & gaming support is pretty damn solid. I've been daily-driving Mint for months & I havn't had so much fun with a computer since Puppy was resurrecting my late 90s hardware back in the 00s.
