Ive heard x2 videos name drop/mention "Kingdom Hearts Stupid Files."' I don't doubt many remember and watched those videos back in the 2000s, but I almost never heard people bring them up in more recent years.

Was thinking to myself earlier about "what happened to Kishimoto's twin brother" But then I realised they literally released a new manga this year. image source: natalie.mu/comic/news/6...

WOAH! Shou Zama Kitazume one in 1986! Oh the seller listed this as Judau, yeah it's clearly meant to be Shou Zama. But yeah I do consider that "Judau style" to originate from Shou more or less. image source: jp.mercari.com/item/m245413...

ZZ I guess, by technically, references the 1986 Dakar rally.

This is live South African TV broadcasting. Most of our TV shows on national TV are subtitled. We all grew up with this. This is why when I hear Americans say things like “dub is better because you are too focused on reading subtitles” didn’t make too much sense to me.

Never played the second one before….mostly played the first on PSP in any case.

First time I witnessed a live action Japanese drama name drop Wikipedia directly.

[ 名作に学ぶアニメのつくり方 ]

The ZZ Japanese Wikipedia page now even has a section mentioning Non Japanese reviews/reception. Ollie's ZZ 2016 Blu-Ray review is directly referenced.

By the way, the ZZ Japanese Wikipedia page has indeed been upgraded earlier this year. I revisit it every now and again over these past 5 years, it's come a long way. Many of these citations I recognise from scans and other translations. Hell even one citation is from 2026.

Please guys, let's show some support.

"I have been deeply interested in ZZ's production since 2021. But this myth about Tomino's lack of involvement in ZZ came as a shock to me when I first found out about it. It never made sense. Even the settei proves he was there to the end." x.com/Petsuchan/st...

Recently the ZZ related "Tomino wasn't that involved with ZZ because of 'CCA' " thing has resurfaced again. Again, from the Japanese side of things. However these days; it tends to be met with push back rather quickly. The below is actually an example of pushback to this: x.com/sakami_kenit...

Oh so the WILD ARMS TV adaptation was supposed to have 26 episodes? Oh? Yeah so they did work on scripts and storyboards of those episodes . Not surprising I guess. Haven't seen this show since 2005. source: www.aniplex.co.jp/WILDARMS/inn...

Dang. Even the JPN Wiki page of WILD ARMS doesn't really say anything about its production. It's not a short Wiki page, but it's just about the gameplay, mechanics, characters and lore. I actually have never watched a WILD ARMS 1 video that even touches no the production. . .

Short thread. I got ahold of some important Xabungle-related materials a while back and I'd like to take a quick moment to talk about them.

For the H.Anno and Serial Experiments Lain Japanese Power Pole enthusiasts. There is a literal book called "Denchu Mania." It goes through the history of them, teaches you the basics and how to enjoy them. No joke I recommend for indie developers. www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B08JYH222...

Then if this hypothetical I’m getting at happens, Gundam #43 happens as is, but then they’d have to find some way to continue right off from where they left off. Eps #44 and #45 would be recap episodes before #46 shows us a probably direct aftermath of A Baoa Qu.

Petsu-chan @petsuchan.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

“What if Gundam 0079 wasn’t cancelled?” Well kinda then it maybe have ended up like Sora Momo? Well, that’s if they reversed their decision “last minute” after already cancelling it. But there are a lot more logistics at play like timeslots etc so it’s hard to say.

Petsu-chan @petsuchan.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

To think DALLOS could have succeeded Minky Momo. I realize I sound completely insane without context.
