Forget the monsters. These days I'm far more scared of just the act of walking around some of these mid-game levels in MediEvil. I died twice just trying to talk to the boat man.

MOTORSLICE is really good! It's a parkour platformer, and plays kinda like Prince of Persia Sands of Time meets Shadow of the Colossus. The sense of scale in this game is unreal. None of it feels faked, and you can see every previous area as you ascend. Writing is odd but easily overlooked imo.

Finished Spyro 3 last week to wrap-up my recent run through the OG trilogy again... I actually like this a lot more than I used to, but half of that is down to me using sequence break glitches to avoid backtracking. Yeti Boxing is still 100% utter bullshit, though.

I don't really wanna spend £60 on the new one so I did a bit of tinkering... and got the PC version of X-Men Origins Wolverine working on my steam deck! Straight away it just feels nice playing this at a higher frame rate. It was always kinda choppy on Xbox 360 and PS3 back then.

Made a start on another photoshop doodle. It's kind of cheating as I'm basically low poly tracing, but I like simplifying the colours and lines. It relaxes my brain... Anyway I think my theme for these will be scrimblo platformer characters.

Finished Spyro 2 last night. It's still very good, but a very different vibe from the first one. Its more complex but a lot less chilled as a result. In some ways the extra content here is a blessing and a curse depending on how you look at it. Still, it's fun. Gonna play the third one soon.
