2/2 I was far enough from it that it didn't bolt, but the distance made for problem photos, especially since I had to shoot in a hurry before it dropped back onto all fours. So not ideal images, but I'm still fond of them and the inspection I got. #cottontail #naturephotography #garden #rabbit

... I'm amazed I got the colours back and minimal camera shake too. Plus it's an old DSLR not a modern mirrorless high speed camera. And yes, if I had time to think I would have bumped up the ISO on the camera further, but I grabbed and shot before the hares took fright and disappeared. 6/6

PS for people who're not used to this: that's a baby machine. But I still love it. Also the four calling hens are scared to make a sound after they saw what happened to the French hens, and the nine ladies dancing in slush snow and ice did not end well either. #winter
